The Full Story

Firstly, thanks so much for stopping by! 

My name is Imani [ee-mon-ee], but I go by Miss 'Mani [mon-ee].

I've been playing the sims since 2003 when I was just 12 years old! I first discovered the sims one day while I was in Wal-Mart with my mother. I saw a PC game box that was labled: Sims Hot Date along with a few other Sim related packs. I thought "Wow this is so cool! I can create and control people's lives!"

The rest was history!

Now, 15 years later, I am 27 and still play the Sims almost every day.

The Sims is my escape from reality. The Sims has helped me get through breakups and breakdowns. I invested thousands, if not millions, of hours of game-play into all of The Sims iterations & I enjoyed every bit of it!

I am mainly a family/generational/rotational player. I may do a few challenges here & there. I'm not much of a modder nor am I CC creator by no means, but my most prized creation is the Sims 4 Social Services Career Mod.

The Sims community has really outdone themselves. From YouTube channels, to thousands and thousands of custom content, & to game play mods that add much more realism to the game. There are so many creative players out there and the love for Sims is REAL. With so much love and support for the Sims over the course of 18 solid years, I cannot see myself NOT playing the Sims.

One day, when I have children and they come of age, I hope that The Sims is still alive, if not better.
